Ed Letven / watercolors, oils and acrylics

This plein air landscape painter was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and now lives in nearby Montgomery County PA. He teaches, landscape and still-life in watercolor and oils. He lectures and exhibits in the region which includes Montgomery, Bucks  and Hunterdon County (NJ).

Though he made his principal living as CEO and founder of a graphic design and advertising company, he kept his hand in fine art throughout his life. He is also accomplished in ceramics as well as welded steel sculpture.

A recent new direction for Mr. Letven has been a series of "modernist abstract" landscapes executed in acrylic paint on canvas, paper and board.  which is an entirely new departure and will be seen for the first time in 2011 with an exhibit as noted in the " events" on the left.

Please take some time to wander around the galleries which are ordered by media and subject. If you find interest in a painting you may contact the artist  through the email feature for sizes, price and etc. on this website. They are reasonably priced. Works that have been sold can be seen in the  "private collections gallery".

Giclee reproductions are available of most of the works shown. They are priced at $85. + postage. Info available by contacting the artist.

Mr. Letven is an active instructor, conducting workshops and classes year round. Click " Shows and Classes" for more information.
